Oriole Court is located in Deer Park which is recognized to be one most desirable neighborhood to live in the City of Toronto. Deer Park is bounded by Chaplin Crescent to the north, St. Clair Avenue West to the south, Yonge Street to the east and Avenue Road to the west.

With a well deserved reputation as an affluent neighbourhood with an upscale mid-town atmosphere, the homes in the area include a mix of detached and semi-detached houses that feature superb architectural styles and details that have been proudly restored and maintained by the homeowners. While many of these homes were constructed between 1875 and 1920, there have been a fair number of newer townhouses added to the neighborhood that have been designed to blend in well with the period architectural style that the area is known for.

Shopping is within walking distance at Yonge and St. Clair and this area is well known for fine restaurants and high profile retailers. There are a variety of retail outlets and places to buy provisions and food in the St. Clair Centre, the Towne Mall or at Delisle Court.

The residents can enjoy the outdoors in this urban setting. Southeast of Oriole Court is the Rosehill Reservoir Park that is located on Pleasant Boulevard. Rosehill features a surfaced walking/jogging/cycling path with a large children’s playground and a wading pool and has a water fountain, reflecting pool and waterfall. To the northeast lies Mount Pleasant Cemetery offering a unique venue for walking, meditating, photography and art. The prestigious Badminton and Racquet Club is located at 25 St. Clair Avenue West.

Directly east of the Rosehill Reservoir Park is the David Balfour park that includes a hiking trail through the Vale of Avoca Ravine. Oriole park features a playground, wading pool, two tennis courts and access to the Belt Line, a 7-kilometre path following the route of Toronto’s old Belt Line Railway.

Directly west and across Avenue Road is another affluent area called Forest Hill that has a very well known area known as Forest Hill Village that has a variety of retail outlets including a bank, stores and restaurants.

Northwest and across Oriole Parkway is Upper Canada College, Canada’s most exclusive boys private school and to the east is one of the most respected private schools for girls, Bishop Strachan School.
